The SUNO Foundation, Inc. is a (501) (c)(3) organization and a state-certified non-profit educational support organization that has assisted students, faculty, alumni, at Southern University at New Orleans since 1976. The mission of the SUNO Foundation is to provide scholarships & funding support to students, faculty, and programs. Our work supports the mission & vision of the university, which is to empower & promote the upward mobility of students. We envision a foundation that is financially sustainable through diversified funding that enhances the success of Southern University at New Orleans.
"SUNO and the Foundation"
The SUNO Foundation has a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Southern University at New Orleans University to support the University's students, faculty, and programs. The MOU addresses our guidelines for working together.
SUNO Foundation offers transparency of all funds raised and disbursed. The accounting of the Foundation is audited annually.
